Upper Corner Lacrosse "Girls Select" has select travel teams for girls living in the Northern Virginia area. It is the premier girl's lacrosse club for middle and high school age players in Loudoun and it's neighboring counties. It was created in 2005 to provide girls who are serious about lacrosse the opportunity to take their game to the next level in the off-season. Through carefully planned practices and elite tournament competition, advance skills and team play are emphasized. Off field conditioning is required. The coaching staff is selected to ensure that every player will have a positive and enriching experience and each player will be guaranteed that she will receive the attention she deserves.
This is girls club lacrosse at its best.
Program highlights:
Our players tryout for our teams in late November of each year and are
notified that they have made a team or not in early December. Our
season covers actually two seasons (Summer and Fall of each year).
With that said, if you are selected and make one of our teams you play in
both our Summer and our Fall season on the same team.
• Our Summer Season runs from June-August (practice is usually on
Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday). Fall Season runs from September to
mid November (Practice is usually on Sundays only);
• Approximately 20-30+ coached practice sessions in the Summer,
which start in June and run through August (Summer Season).
• Approximately 8-10 coached practice sessions in the Fall, which start
in September and run through mid November (Fall Season).
• High quality coaching at tournaments and practices
• Assistance with the College Recruiting Process
• Tournament uniform
• 3 - 4 elite summer tournaments usually located in the states of MD, VA, PA and maybe NJ.
• 3 - 4 elite fall tournaments usually located in the states of MD, VA, PA and maybe NJ.
